After years of dreaming, Kelby McGinnis decided to form his own outfitting business, an idea which has been manifesting since he was about 16 years old.  He always dreamed of hunting out west as a teenager, but being from Pennsylvania the 1,900 miles of country between here and there got in his way.  After a few trips out west later in life, he became more hooked on western hunting and wanted to find a way to do more of it.  There are only so many "opening days" as an outdoorsman and he wanted to try and share and enjoy as many of those moments as he can. So Kelby purchased a premier hunting area in Unit 7 in the panhandle of Idaho.  This is a remote unit that will provide a backcountry experience like no other.

An experienced outdoorsman, professional guide, and good friend of Kelby’s, Cody Farney, will be the head guide. Cody brings with him nine safe and successful years of experience hunting/guiding western big game in Colorado and Idaho. Cody and Kelby became friends and hunting partners years ago on a Colorado mountain lion hunt. Since then, they have experienced some of the most incredible hunting experiences across the globe.

Together, they have a great pack of hounds for bear and lion hunting, extensive experience in hunting elk and mule deer and access to a world-class hunting area.  What we can guarantee is that this is more than just another hunting trip, it will be an adventure of a lifetime!
